‘Together forever’ in the Lockdown
Can you stop the rain? Definitely not. And the same applies to a wedding, When it’s decided, nothing can stop. Not even the lockdown. This point has been proved hard by this lovely couple, who united amidst the lockdown with an Intimate wedding.
Once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale.” And so happened to this couple. While love connected this pair by moving its wand around them, they ended together like magic. Look into this wonderful tale of love that folded out amidst the pandemic cause nothing could stop them.
Their cute story
With a formal introduction in a friend’s party, they got to know each other. And realized that they studied in the same school, only two batches apart. And they couldn’t stop talking ever after that. They met often and never ran out of words. Then Sunakshi had to go to Scotland on a work assignment. Abhinav flew to UK to meet her. Both of them knew that something special connected them.
Sunakshi was offered to stay in Scotland for a few years, but the thought of being apart didn’t let her accept it. She returned to India, and the couple started dating. The period was filled with lots of dinners, parties and trips.
And to take the relationship a step higher, Abhinav had surprised Sunakshi romantically. In 2019, on a trip to a village in Norway that was extremely scenic, Abhinav proposed to Sunakshi with a promise ring. And Sunakshi had been surprised, though that is what they had always wanted- ‘Together’.
Family
So that they were committed, they wanted to step into their future together. The families of the bride and the groom were as excited as the couple. And like any other parents, they have decided upon a luxurious wedding for 3-days in April 2020. They also invited more than 600 guests.
Planning a wedding requires a lot of work. Outfits for the bride and groom, shopping, MUAs, venue of the wedding, decoration tasks, wedding cards, invitees, and many more. The families decided upon all of those, and everything was in place by March 2020.
But the pandemic tore it all apart. As their family wanted them to start a new life together as a couple, they opted for an intimate wedding. And it out folded with safety precautions, good teams that made it possible even with last-minute bookings.

The Mehendi was by @kundanmehendi. The intmate wedding began with a head start as the Mehndi ceremony was performed at the bride’s house the next day.
Haldi rituals for the Intimate Wedding
The haldi ritual for the bride and groom were organized on 15 June at the @ITC Grand Bharat. Everyone was heartily dressed up, and the joy was full on. they were enjoying themselves and it was indeed a splendid event.
